MOAT Solar Farm
Moat Solar Farm is located in the village of Barnby Moore, Nottinghamshire, UK, and although a moderate project in terms of capacity (4.62MWp connected @ 33kV), is by far the most important of our projects as it is the one that established Gemec Ltd in the UK market. Our company was commisioned for a turn key solution (full EPC) of the project in February 2015, and under very awkward conditions and time limitations the plant was succesfully commissioned and energised under the ROCs Trading Sheme on the 31st of March of the same year. GEMEC Ltd was also appointed by the client to manage the Inependent Connection Provider (ICP) works and worked closely with and under the umbrella of the DNO for the installation of the cable network to the point of connection.
